Where losers of mind fail to tread

The potentiality of our mind is immeasurable. Within it lies the seed of success and failure, happiness and sorrow, hope and despair. It’s a very powerful force which can enslave us or empower us. With the mindset of a visionary, Laungi Bhuiyan, an uneducated, poor farmer of Kothiwala Village in Lathua area of Gaya in Bihar has proved its infinite power. “Once a goal is set deep in our mind, no force can deter it.” Single-handedly, he dug a canal of 3 km length to carry water from the hills to the fields of his village for irrigation purposes. Challenges were many, rough paths, unfavourable climatic conditions, but these did not prevent him from his vision of providing rainwater to his village. When asked about his mission, he said, “the major occupation of people in Gaya is farming and animal husbandry.
